Mechanic

Due to continued growth and the preparing for upcoming peak season, Site Equip is expanding its Fleet Maintenance team. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanic / Fleet Technician to help keep our fleet of vehicles, welfare units and accommodation trailers serviced, safe, and ready for hire.

You’ll work from our fully equipped workshop complete with lift and diagnostic tools and support breakdowns across London and the South East using a company-provided van.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Servicing and maintaining our fleet across multiple locations
• Preparing vehicles for MOT
• Operating, maintaining, and diagnosing plant and equipment faults
• Assessing, testing, and repairing equipment to high standards
• Reading and interpreting technical documentation
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Supporting breakdown callouts (company van provided)
• Carrying out additional workshop duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• Able to work independently and part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Time-served mechanic or minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification
• Proactive attitude with the ability to use your own initiative

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £32,500.00-£36,000.00 per year

Experience:

• MOT Preperation: 1 year (preferred)
• Vehicle Servicing : 1 year (preferred)
• Fault Diagonstics : 1 year (preferred)
