Power, Water and Recirculating Chemical Toilet

This welfare unit is powered by a silent 6kVA diesel generator. The generator supports the unit’s main facilities, including the microwave, kettle, sockets, lighting and water heater.

The customer is responsible for supplying and refilling diesel during the hire. The generator has a 58-litre fuel tank and a weekly running limit of 50 hours.

The unit also includes a 25-litre fresh-water tank. Drinking water is not supplied by Site Equip, so customers must provide drinking water separately for their workforce.

The recirculating chemical toilet includes a 50-gallon waste tank, helping the unit operate without mains drainage. This makes it suitable for temporary sites where fixed toilets are not available.

Weekly Chemical Toilet Servicing Included

Every hire includes weekly servicing of the recirculating chemical toilet. This service includes effluent removal, chemical recharge, toilet-roll replenishment and cleaning of the toilet compartment.

Our service team also replenishes soap and paper towels during the service visit.

We do not include fresh-water replenishment as standard. Customers can arrange additional chemical toilet servicing or water visits where required, subject to availability and extra charges.

This keeps the toilet facility usable throughout the hire period while giving customers flexibility for busier sites.

Delivery, Setup and Site Requirements

Site Equip delivers the 12ft welfare unit using a towing vehicle. The unit uses a hydraulic lowering system and normally requires around 15–20 minutes to deploy, although we allow approximately 30 minutes on site for delivery and setup.

Before delivery, the site must provide:

• Flat, firm ground
• Safe towing vehicle access
• A clear route to the agreed position
• Space for deployment
• Access within approximately 3 metres of the vehicle
• Ongoing access for servicing

The unit must not be placed on unstable, sloping or waterlogged ground. Customers cannot tow or move the unit around site themselves. Any movement should be arranged through Site Equip.
