Young Lives Vs Cancer Roundup

Our Senior Operations Manager, Mick Griffin, cycled from London to Brighton to raise funds and awareness for Young Lives vs Cancer. Generously sponsored by Burbidge’s Bakery with a £1,000 contribution. Site Equip collectively raised an impressive total of £5,322 for the charity.

Liz Blunt, Senior Fundraising Engagement Manager, expressed her gratitude. “A huge thank you to Site Equip for supporting Young Lives vs Cancer (CLIC Sargent) in 2023. Their incredible fundraising efforts could fund registration grants for 53 families with a newly diagnosed child. With recent findings showing that families need an extra £700 monthly for cancer treatments, these grants are crucial. Since we rely solely on donations, supporters like Site Equip’s staff and Directors make all the difference. A special thanks to Millie for coordinating, Vicki for the bucket collection. Mick for his cycling challenge, and the Gilbert family for their ongoing support.”
