Treloar Trust Is Site Equip’s Charity of the Year for 2022!

We are pleased to announce that Treloar Trust is Site Equip’s Charity of the Year for 2022!

Treloar Trust is the UK’s leading centre for severely disabled children and young people, Treloar’s offers outstanding teaching and learning, professional care and therapy, and enduring support and guidance so that every individual can live, learn, achieve and work towards a future that is as independent as possible.

The students at Treloar’s are contending with the most complex physical disabilities and unfortunately with those disabilities comes further conditions such as learning difficulties, visual impairment, no verbal communication, medical and dietary issues, lack of social awareness, mental health problems and life-limiting conditions.

Since 1907, our Nursery, School, and College have offered 170 children and young adults, ages 2 to 25, a unique, specialized environment. Here, education integrates seamlessly with therapy and care. This holistic approach brings together teachers, transition staff, therapists, medical professionals, dieticians, visual impairment advisors, counselors, technicians, and engineers. Working as one, they support each individual to help them reach their fullest potential.

As part of our commitment, Site Equip pledges to provide Treloar Trust with free toilet hire for 2022. We also pledge to fundraise for them year-round and offer each Site Equip employee one paid day of volunteering.
