The Most Asked Question When It Comes To Site WC Hire ?

Site Equip have been providing site WC hire to the South East of England for over 30 years, and we are often asked the same old question; How many toilets do I need?

Site WC Hire

According to HSE regulations, by law a workplace must have at least one site WC hire per 15 workers, so if your site does not have access to a toilet, then you will need to provide temporary portable toilet hire. At Site Equip, we strongly recommend one portable toilet per 7 workers over a 40 working hour week, this is to ensure that the unit does not overflow ahead of your free weekly service, which we include in every hire. We can also provide a servicing on an ad hoc basis, should you need an additional empty ahead of your scheduled service.

Site Equip can provide various types of site WC hire to suit your requirements, whether you are after a standard cold water chemical loo for a site which is constantly evolving, or a mains connected loo for something more permanent, like a home renovation.

Types of Site WC Hire Available with Site Equip

  • Cold Water Portable Chemical Toilet – Commonly known as ‘builders’ loos’, these lightweight cold water portable chemical toilets are ideal for construction sites. Their design makes them easy to move across the site. These units are self-sufficient, requiring no electricity, water, or waste removal. You can place them almost anywhere on site.
  • Hot Water Portable Toilet – These hot water portable toilets share a similar design to the cold water version but include a temperature-controlled hand-wash basin. However, they do require a power outlet for the internal water heater.
  • Mains Connected Portable Toilet – Ideal for projects with access to mains, sewage, and water connections, these toilets function like standard toilets. The porcelain unit flushes waste into an external waste management system, offering a fresh water flushing experience.
  • Mains Toilet Blocks – Mains toilet blocks are perfect for long-term, permanent projects. These static units stay in place and require access to mains, sewage, and water connections. They function like a standard toilet with hot water and a fully flushing system.
