With rigorous and in-depth inspections of our 3 Bay Vac Pods and a knowledgeable host of judges, Site Event are proud to announce that our pods have won a platinum award at the prestigious Loo of the Year Awards.

The award ceremony has taken place this afternoon (6th Dec) at St Johns Hotel in Solihull, where guests have indulged in a 4-course Christmas luncheon, with sparkling wine and entertainment from Ben Hanlin, one of  the UK’s most successful magicians!

The Awards have one simple objective – to encourage all washrooms to abide to the highest possible standard available! And this isn’t down to just one individual or provider, this is down to all washroom users, from providers and contractors to staff and visitors. The independently-owned Loo of the Year Awards began in 1987 to highlight the importance of washroom cleanliness and hygiene. More recently, these awards also focus on reducing water, paper, and energy waste, encouraging washrooms to adopt more eco-friendly and cost-effective practices.

Our 3 Bay Vacuum Toilet Pods provide an environmentally friendly, efficient and effective toilet for the mass market. Reducing our carbon footprint, water consumption and not using any chemicals, this product is perfect for large scale festivals.

3 Bay Vacuum Toilet Pods Features;

Environmentally Friendly

With state-of-the-art vacuum system, the vacuum pods have all the environmentally friendly credentials. Like airplane toilets, these units are chemical-free and use only 0.5L of fresh or recycled gray water. They reduce carbon footprints by allowing multiple units per delivery and enable efficient servicing with no downtime for users.

Reduces Carbon Footprint

Due to the design of the vacuum pods, we can deliver 10 x 3 bay vacuum pods on one load, opposed to 20 x single portable toilets or 5 x toilet trailers, thus dramatically reducing not only the transport costs but also our carbon footprint.

Reduces Water Consumption

The vacuum system only requires 0.5L of water to flush each pan, compared with 6-9L in a conventional toilet. Additionally if your event has showers on site, we can recycle the gray water from the showers into the toilets, to reduce your events water consumption. Within the 3 bay vacuum pods there is also no sinks, only hand sanitiser.

Zero Chemicals

We offer fresh water flush toilets, meaning no undesirable blue chemicals within the units.

Efficient

With our red and green light indicators it is clear to the end-user when the toilet is vacant or engaged from a distance. Thus reducing queuing time and improving user experience. All our vacuum toilet pods can be daisy chained together, and vacuumed away to a waste tank, up to 100 meters away.

No Downtime

The waste is vacuum pumped away to a back of house waste tank, which is then emptied on average within 3 minutes. This means the service engineers do not need to shut down the toilets in order to service and empty them.
