Site Event Is Highly Commended in the Green Supplier and Innovation Awards from the Showman’s Show!

As part of the Showman’s Show awards, Site Event entered for the Green Supplier and Innovation Awards. This award recognises companies that have released innovative products or services which reduce the environmental impact of events and those that have adopted sustainable working practices.

At Site Event we have grown, changed & developed considerably over the past few years, not just in terms of the different events we have supplied but our strategy regarding supplying events has changed. We made a huge push towards more environmentally friendly products that limit the use of chemicals. We then developed our new luxury 6 bay & 3 bay vacuum toilets which have a freshwater flush, these are not only eco-friendlier, they have a higher quality user experience as opposed to blue chemical re-circulating toilet trailers which are commonly used.

Reducing Carbon Emissions in the Event Industry

Transportation contributes significantly to carbon emissions in the event industry. Fewer transport loads not only lower costs but also help the environment by optimizing journeys. Previously, we transported toilet trailers back to our HQ in Lasham for cleaning. However, with our vacuum equipment, we can send units directly from event to event. This change dramatically reduces our transportation and carbon footprint throughout the event season.

Expanding Our Reach

Over our 33-year history, we have built a strong presence in the South of England. We supply the majority of events in the area. To enhance our service quality and efficiency, we opened our third depot in North London. This decision helps us reduce driving miles and minimize our environmental footprint across the UK.

Innovative Technology for Better Service

Site Event has developed an in-house app to support our products. This app analyzes which toilets receive the highest use, detects breakdowns before customers notice, and tracks when units need cleaning or consumables replenished.

Our innovative software keeps us connected with customers. We send automatic texts and emails before deliveries, collections, or services. Furthermore, our technological advancements enable us to provide health and safety compliance paperwork instantly. This includes photos, call logs, GPS location, and signatures.

Since the pandemic, Site Event has expanded into hand sanitising products. Ensuring your event attendees with an extra layer of safety. These include our hand sanitiser stations and our vacuum sinks.
