Site Equip Supports Pride Month!

Every year Pride month is celebrated during the month of June in honour of the LGBTQ+ community. Here at Site Equip we support the LGBT+ community in every way we can, whilst trying to find new ways to support the community.

This month-long celebration honors the LGBTQ community while peacefully protesting and raising awareness of the issues they face. Pride Month highlights the progress the LGBTQ+ community has made since 1969 and encourages continued awareness and positive change.

Pride embodies the spirit of being proud of who you are, loving whom you choose, and striving for acceptance and equality within society.

We celebrate Pride Month to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. On June 28, 1969, members of the LGBTQ community rioted after a police raid at the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar. This uprising marked a significant turning point in how society treated and viewed the LGBTQ+ community.

Site Equip proudly provides event equipment and sanitation for many pride events across the South of England. Brighton & Hove Pride was one of our first event customers, and we continue to supply them with event equipment and sanitation every year. This event is a highlight in our calendar.

Ensure Our Sanitation Is Gender-Neutral
We design our portable toilets, vacuum pods, and other sanitation offerings to be gender-neutral. This commitment ensures that non-binary individuals feel included and safe when using our facilities. We strive to create a comfortable environment for all Pride attendees and continually educate ourselves to foster inclusivity.

Support the LGBTQ+ Community Financially
During June, we will donate all our charity contributions to a selected LGBTQ+ charity. This year, we proudly support MindOut, a mental health charity that serves the LGBTQ+ community.

Continue Supplying the LGBTQ+ Community

Site Equip is committed to continuously educating ourselves on LGBTQ+ rights. We promise to support the LGBTQ+ community in every way possible. At Site Equip, we stand for equality and will not tolerate any acts of hate toward the LGBTQ+ community. Pride means acceptance, both for who you want to be and who you are.
