Site Equip Invests Over a Quarter of a Million in Custom Made Vehicles!

Site Equip has invested over a quarter of a million pounds in brand new custom-made vehicles. We are very pleased to welcome twelve new vehicles comprising of Mercedes flatbed delivery trucks,  Izuzu 3.5 tonne service trucks, and 4×4 trucks, to add to our ever-growing fleet.

Commitment to Growth and Development

Investing in Site Equip’s fleet is a key part of our long-term strategy. We aim to grow and develop our brands: Site Equip, Site Event, Site Build, and Site Waste. This investment, along with recruiting new staff and increasing our expenditures at three depots in the South of England, reflects our commitment to providing reliable vehicles and high-quality equipment for our customers.

Overcoming Challenges

Amy Gilbert, Director of Site Equip, shared, “2021 has been challenging as we operate during a global pandemic. However, the Site Equip team has come together to deliver, service, and collect our equipment across a variety of construction sites, government contracts, festivals, and events, despite restricted resources.

We have waited over four months for our new vehicle deliveries due to supply chain delays. The Suez Canal blockade, Brexit, and Covid-19 have all contributed to these challenges. Nevertheless, the team will greatly welcome the new vehicles, as they will increase our capacity for both event and construction customers.

Looking ahead, we have already placed our order for 2022 in line with our structured growth plan.”

Site Equip has invested in a fleet of new vehicles that feature service trucks with a tank capacity of 1,220 litres. Each truck has a cylindrical tank with torispherical stainless steel ends. This design supports separate waste and water tanks, ensuring efficient operation.

Our service trucks include an overfill protection tank, giving you peace of mind while we service your site. Additionally, our galvanized steel water hose reels come with 15 meters of 3/4 bore low-pressure delivery hoses. This setup allows us to reach and effectively service your Site Equip portable toilets.
