Site Equip Go Festive for Christmas Jumper Day 2019 ?

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! ? And to get into the festive spirit we have the Christmas music playing, mouthwatering mince pies all around, and donning our favourite festive jumpers for Christmas Jumper Day 2019!

Children’s charity Save the Children launched Christmas Jumper Day on Friday, December 14, 2012, raising significant funds for children worldwide. The day aims to raise both awareness and funds, suggesting a £2 donation per person. Donations help provide essentials, like antibiotics for sick children, shelters, and even livestock, which offer sustainable income for families in need.

Christmas Jumper Day was launched by children’s rights charity Save the Children on Friday 14 December 2012, and has since raised an incredible amount of money for children across the globe! The aim of the day is not only to raise money by suggesting a £2 donation per person, but to raise awareness to children living in poverty around the world. The money raised can provide antibiotics to sick children, a shelter for those in need, utilities such as livestock to provide them with a source of income and much, much more. We’ve also decided to share the proceeds raised from our Christmas Jumper Day 2019 with our Charity of the Year, St Michael’s Hospice! St Michael’s Hospice provides life-changing support to those with life-limiting illnesses and Site Equip are proud to also be supporting their charity as well as Save the Children and making a difference both locally and globally!
