Samphire Festival – The Monthly Festival ‘Spotlight’
Samphire Festival
Samphire Festival is a fresh, vibrant music event set on the stunning coastline of Exmoor National Park. Recently, the festival raised funds through a successful Crowdfunder campaign, achieving its initial £20,000 target a remarkable 34 days before the deadline. This goal was then extended to £40,000 to enhance festival offerings, covering essentials like tents, sound systems, toilets, and lighting. Samphire will host a mix of folk, funk, house, techno, ska, reggae, and pop across two main stages, with over 30 live acts, bringing a unique lineup to the West Country.
The festival founders, Flora and Josh, bring a wealth of music industry expertise. Flora, a passionate London-based music journalist and DJ, also runs Little Black Decks, a business spotlighting underground music scenes. Josh, who’s played Glastonbury and venues across the Alps, curates the festival’s music, shaping Samphire’s sound and atmosphere. Set for August 8-10, Samphire will offer breathtaking sea views and a chance to disconnect, focusing on music and community over digital distractions.
