At Budget 2020, the government announced that it would remove the entitlement of Red Diesel and replace it with biodiesel from most sectors from April 2022. The government’s target is to reduce all greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2050, removing Red Diesel guarantees a reduction in the production of CO₂ and NO emissions.

What is Site Equip doing to help? We are introducing HVO Biofuel!

Site Equip is removing their Red Diesel fuel tanks and introducing HVO Biofuel.

HVO Biofuel is a fantastic alternative to Red Diesel as made from 100% renewable materials, such as vegetable oils. These oils go through a hydrotreatment process to create high-quality paraffinic fuel.

HVO Biofuel matches diesel in performance quality and can be stored for up to 10 years without reacting with oxygen.

Because of these benefits, HVO Biofuel reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90%. Additionally, it is 100% biodegradable and free from sulphur.

At Site Equip, we offer both standard welfare units and Eco welfare units. Each unit comes with a full tank of HVO Biofuel. We also provide a weekly fuel box delivered when your toilet is serviced.
