Home-Start Surrey is Site Equip’s Charity of the Year 2024!

Site Equip is overjoyed to announce Home-Start Surrey as our Charity of the Year 2024!

Home-Start works with vulnerable families with at least one child under the age of 5, to support their independence by offering emotional and parenting support. Their volunteers are trained to offer free non-judgemental support, in addition to the ability to respond to complex needs.

Home-Start Surrey Facts

In 2023, Home-Start Surrey supported 2227 children and their families in Surrey. They have over 300 volunteers to support disadvantaged families across their 8 locations.
The following indicates what donations could do to support vulnerable children and their families:

• For £30, you can support a family for a week.
• With £500, Home-Start can host a Christmas party for families and provide presents for children.
• A £1,250 donation funds a volunteer to visit homes and support families for an entire year.

As part of our partnership Site Equip pledge to provide free toilet hire for 2024, fundraise for them throughout the year, and provide 1 paid day of volunteering for our Site Equip employees.
