Charity of the Year Applications 2024 are Open!

.We are pleased to announce applications are now open for Site Equip’s Charity Of The Year 2024.

Our popular annual program offers one charity a host of benefits including:

• Free portable toilet hire at your charity events.
• Inclusion in our monthly newsletter with a reach of over 27,000.
• Supplier, Customer, and Company Donations.
• Employee Fundraising includes monthly cook-offs, cycles, & lots more!
• Marketing and publicity support throughout the year.

To qualify for our Charity of the Year you should be a  non-profit organisation located in South-East England. Site Equip employees will vote for the winner based on the positive impact we feel we can make to the charity over the next 12 months and those that are close to their hearts.

Charity of the Year 2023 – Young Lives Vs Cancer

Young Lives vs Cancer provide support to those under 25 with cancer and their families. Young Lives vs Cancer support many young people and their families in many ways, such as financial grants, being a listening ear or helping them with paperwork.

This year, Site Equip has supported Young Lives vs Cancer by running monthly Friday food fundraising. With staff-cooked lunches and dress-up days, such as Jeans day for Jean’s House. Our Senior Operations Manager, Mick Griffin, completed the London to Brighton cycle to fundraise and raise awareness.

Charity of the Year 2022 – Treloar’s Trust 

Treloar’s Trust is the UK’s leading centre for severely disabled children and young people. Treloar’s offers outstanding teaching, learning, professional care and therapy. Enduring support and guidance so that every individual can live, learn, achieve and work towards a future that is as independent as possible.

Site Equip has supported Treloar’s Trust by fundraising with monthly staff-cooked lunches and donating £3 per person. Plus, a volunteering day gardening to create a more accessible area for their students and donations from our customers.

Charity of the Year 2021 – YPI Counseling

YPI Counselling provides 11 – 25 years olds with the best mental health support to young people and their families across Basingstoke & Deane.

Throughout 2021, Site Equip has supported YPI Counselling with monthly donations, fundraising through bake sales and monthly cook-offs!

Charity of the Year 2020 – SpotLight UK

Spotlight provides low-cost activities to children and young people across Basingstoke to increase their confidence and self-esteem.

Despite the pandemic, the Site Equip team continued to partake in monthly fundraising activities and increased their efforts in the run-up to Christmas. Sian & Amy put their new lockdown crafting skills to use by selling homemade candles and drinks coasters. Site Equip was pleased to provide Spotlight with free sanitiser and toilet roll when the supermarket shelves were empty in spring.
