Site Equip’s Charity of the Year ’23 Applications Are Open!

We are pleased to announce applications are now open for Site Equip Charity Of The Year 2023.

Our popular annual program offers one charity a host of benefits including:

• Free portable toilet hire at your charity events.
• Inclusion in our monthly newsletter with a reach of over 26,000.
• Supplier, Customer, and Company Donations.
• Employee Fundraising includes monthly cook-offs, fun runs, & lots more!
• Marketing and publicity support throughout the year.

To qualify for our Charity of the Year you should be a  non-profit organisation located in South-East England. Site Equip employees will vote for the winner based on the positive impact we feel we can make to the charity over the next 12 months and those that are close to their hearts.

Charity of the Year 2022 – Treloar’s Trust 

Treloar’s Trust is the UK’s leading centre for severely disabled children and young people. Treloar’s offers outstanding teaching, learning, professional care and therapy, and enduring support and guidance so that every individual can live, learn, achieve and work towards a future that is as independent as possible.

Site Equip has supported Treloar’s Trust by fundraising with monthly staff-cooked lunches and donating £3 per person, a volunteering day gardening to create a more accessible area for their students and donations from our customers.

Charity of the Year 2021 – YPI Counseling

YPI Counselling provides 11 – 25 years olds with the best mental health support to young people and their families across Basingstoke & Deane.

Throughout 2021, Site Equip has supported YPI Counselling with monthly donations, fundraising through bake sales and monthly cook-offs!

Charity of the Year 2020 – SpotLight UK

Spotlight provides low-cost activities to children and young people across Basingstoke to increase their confidence and self-esteem, as well as provide emotional and practical support where it’s needed.

Despite the Covid pandemic, the Site Equip team continued to engage in monthly fundraising activities and plans to ramp up efforts as Christmas approaches. Sian and Amy utilized their new lockdown crafting skills by selling homemade candles and drinks coasters. Additionally, Site Equip proudly supplied Spotlight with free sanitiser and toilet roll when supermarket shelves ran empty in the spring.

Charity of the Year 2019 – St. Michael’s Hospice

St. Michael’s Hospice in Basingstoke dedicates itself to providing patients with the best possible quality of life. They offer specialist care and support both within their Hospice in Basingstoke and at patients’ homes throughout North Hampshire.

Site Equip was thrilled to partner with St. Michael’s Hospice in 2019. We raised over £5,000 through employee events, bake sales, and customer donations! We also provided portable toilet services for their entire events calendar that year.
