Cal Medhurst Promoted to Yards Operations Manager at Site Equip

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Cal Medhurst to Yards Operations Manager at Site Equip. With a proven track record of dedication, expertise, and leadership, Cal is stepping into this role to drive operational excellence across all our Site Equip yards.

A New Chapter in Yard Operations

In his new role, Cal will be responsible for overseeing all yard activities, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement. His key accountabilities will include:

• Health & Safety Compliance – Ensuring the highest safety standards across all yards.
• Yard Teams Management – Leading and supporting yard teams across our four depots.
• Stock Control – Maintaining equipment readiness for hire, ensuring all units are well-maintained and prepared for use.
• Process Improvement – Implementing consistency in yard operations and further developing the “Site Equip Way.”
• Training & Development – Enhancing the skills of all yard team members.
• Supporting Depot Managers – Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiencies that support the wider business.

Cal’s leadership will ensure that our yard teams operate efficiently and effectively, upholding best practices across all locations. While yard teams will report to Cal, they will continue to work closely with depot managers for day-to-day welfare.

Welcoming Mark Simms as Yard Supervisor in Lasham

In addition to Cal’s promotion, we are excited to announce that Mark Simms will take up the role of Yard Supervisor in Lasham on a six-month secondment starting April 1st, 2025. Mark’s knowledge and experience make him a great fit for this role, and we look forward to seeing his contributions over the next six months.
