I was looking for an Apprenticeship that aligned with my interests, and Site Equip stood out as the course sounded exactly like what I was looking for and I liked that it’s a company that supports its employees and gives them real opportunities to grow.

What made you choose an Apprenticeship instead of other career paths?

I chose to do an apprenticeship as I feel I learn better by doing the job and that it will set me up better for life as I am already in a professional work environment while still getting a qualification. 

 What does a typical day look like in your Apprenticeship?

On a typical day I carry out the daily tasks I have learnt and usually learn how to do something new. I also spend some time doing some college work. 

What skills have you developed since starting your Apprenticeship?

I have learnt how to communicate better and more professionally. I have also become more confident and gained a deeper understanding of the work HR does. 

 What advice would you give to someone considering an Apprenticeship?

It is definitely a good option if you would like to gain a qualification and learn better in a work environment rather than a college environment. You can learn a lot by just doing the tasks set out for you and get to meet people doing all kinds of different jobs.
