We are introducing our brand new 6 Bay Luxury Vacuum Toilet Pods and 6 Bay Luxury Shower Pods new for 2019, exclusively for Site Event!

Since our humble beginnings in 1988, where we started with just portable plastic chemical toilets for construction sites, Site Equip has evolved into one of the South’s leading suppliers of portable toilet, shower, site accommodation, and waste disposal hire.

Along the way we have formed two sister companies, Site Event and Site Build, the former focusing on the more glamorous side of portable toilet hire with events and festivals, and the latter being our very own in-house manufacturing facility.  Our team at Site Build have been very busy over the last few months developing a couple of brand new products exclusively for Site Event, the 6 Bay Luxury Vacuum Toilet Pods and the 6 Bay Luxury Shower Pods.

6 Bay Luxury Vacuum Toilet Pods

The 6 Bay Luxury Vacuum Toilet Pods allow for a luxurious and eco-friendly toilet option for event organisers due to their impressive environmental credentials. The Vacuum Pods use just 0.5L of water per flush, compared to 9L in traditional toilets. This efficiency comes from the vacuum function, which moves waste into a large external tank instead of flushing it with excessive water. Additionally, the vacuum pods reduce transportation costs. Four pods can fit in one delivery load, unlike four separate vehicle trips. This lowers our carbon footprint by 75%.

The unit has a layout of 3 cubicles each side of the pod and contains a vanity unit, ceramic sink, mirror, toilet, hand towel dispenser and a limited cold water supply in a fixed tank. We will include consumables including; toilet roll, hand soap and hand towels. The unit can be easily labelled for any gender and can cater for up to 400 people for a standard 8 hour event.

6 Bay Luxury Shower Pods

Our Shower Pods feature six luxurious gas-powered showers within a compact pod system. Like our Vacuum Toilet Pods, these units enhance your environmental credentials. We can deliver multiple pods in a single load, reducing transportation costs and cutting carbon emissions compared to single towable shower units.

The layout includes three separate shower cubicles on each side. Each cubicle features non-slip flooring, a shower curtain or divider, a mirror, a seat, clothing hooks, and a hot shower. Inside the pod, a water buffer tank holds up to 1000L of fresh water, and two 47kg propane gas bottles are stored outside the trailer.

Similar to the Vacuum Toilet Pods, we deliver Shower Pods using an articulated lorry or a 7.5T beavertail. These units require a forklift or telehandler for both delivery and collection.
