10 Things We Learnt During Our Website Rebranding
Site Equip have recently launched our new website which also features, Loos R Us being rebranded to Site Event and the launch of our new sister company Site Build. We have been working on the rebrand for over 6 months now, and have learnt a lot of lessons on the way. Here are just a few of them…
1. Check, double check, get everyone to check and you will still make obvious mistakes…. Gents shouldn’t wear dresses.

2. Work with brilliant people, Ifamily were supportive and helpful throughout the whole project.

3. Keep it simple, stupid. We do toilets well and we wanted our website rebranding to show exactly that.

4. Plan, Plan, and stick to your plan. Without it we would have never launched our website rebranding on time at the Showmans Show.

5. You will become obsessed with content reaching the 300 word mark on all pages.

6. Communicate the rebrand to customers, suppliers and employees. We did this through our countdown on social media, mail shots and the Showmans Show exhibition

7. Do your homework, research is vital for effective website rebranding.

8. It is a long process, which started in early 2014. Through perseverance and careful decision making we have successfully rebranded, The big lesson to be learnt here is, never underestimate what a huge project website rebranding can be.

9. If the worst come to the worst we have a lot of clean portable toilets to hide in!

10. It is the best feeling in the world when the website goes live! – Hope you enjoy.
