Single Portable Toilets: These units should be positioned on flat, firm ground, within 3 meters of the delivery vehicle for optimal placement.

Towable Units: Due to their size, towable units require a large turning radius during delivery and must be positioned with easy access to the vehicle. In some cases, they can be manually relocated to more confined spaces using manpower or forklifts.

We strive to place our units precisely where you require them. Should your site have limited access, please contact our transport department. We will collaborate with you to identify the most effective solution for your needs.

While we aim to ensure a smooth experience when hiring from us, we provide all customers with a 24-hour emergency contact number to address any issues promptly, offering peace of mind throughout the duration of your hire.

The cost of hire depends on the duration and the type of toilet required. Our construction hire prices are available on our website. However, each event is unique, and we provide bespoke quotes tailored to your specific requirements. Please contact our event team for further assistance.

Yes, we offer next-day delivery if you place your order with us before 4 pm.

The price covers the weekly hire of the toilet, including delivery, setup, and a thorough test before we leave the site. Weekly servicing and consumables are provided at no additional cost as part of the hire contract.

Construction – The Health and Safety Executive recommends 1 toilet for every 5 people during a 40-hour working week. 

Events – The Purple Guide provides specific recommendations for toilet requirements based on factors such as the number of attendees, event duration, and whether alcohol or camping is included. However, we offer a simple toilet calculator to help determine the exact requirements for your event.

Construction: Our minimum hire period is 4 weeks. If you require the equipment for a shorter duration, that’s no problem, but the minimum charge will still apply for 4 weeks. For longer hire periods, the equipment will remain on hire until you contact us for collection, with invoices issued every 4 weeks.

Events: There is no minimum hire period; we charge on a fixed-rate basis. If you require the equipment for an extended period, that’s not a problem. Our event team will be happy to assist with your specific needs.

Yes, we provide a weekly service within the hire price. However it is the hirer’s responsibility to keep the toilet clean in between services.

We hire our range of portable toilets throughout the South of England covering; Surrey, Hampshire, Kent, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, London, Essex, Kent, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, East and West Sussex.

Yes, each unit is supplied fully stocked with toilet paper (2 rolls per unit), hand towels, and either hand wash or hand sanitiser, depending on the unit hired. Additional stock can be provided at a small cost. We can also supply an experienced, uniformed attendant if required.

Yes, all our event toilets are available for hire with a minimum one-day hire rate, unless otherwise specified in your contract.

No, none of our event toilets have ever been used on a construction site, ensuring they maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and quality. If you require a construction toilet, please contact our sister company, Site Equip.

During peak times, particularly in June, July, August, and September, our services tend to be in high demand. To ensure availability, we recommend booking your toilet hire as early as possible.

We have NSQ qualified uniformed delivery drivers who will use a range of vehicles from HGVs, 3.5 tonne transit or  4x4s, enabling us to deliver to you no matter the terrain., We will be in touch before your event to arrange delivery and you will receive a text on the day of delivery when the driver is on his way to you. Our usual days of delivery are Monday – Friday however as an events company we are open 24/7 ensuring your toilet is delivered when convenient for you.

Site Event are a licensed waste carrier and the waste from the toilets is disposed of at a local sewage works, there is one in almost every town! This is disposed of according to regulations and procedures. 

Our toilet trailers are equipped with their own fresh water tank. While it is not essential, we recommend connecting the water tank to a direct water supply to ensure a continuous flow and prevent running out of water during use.

Our toilet trailers have lights fitted, which need an electricity supply to power. However our single plastic loos have translucent roofs which give good daylight illumination or at night they could be positioned underneath a light.

Yes, we can install toilet trailers inside marquees, meaning they become part of the furniture, we would recommend us delivering the toilets before the marquee is erected, and to ensure it is in the correct position.

Unfortunately they do not, however we have a luxury disabled toilet trailer, specifically for that use.

All toilet trailers require an unshared and uninterrupted power source of 13amp to ensure the unit functions for the duration of the event.

We do not supply you with generators to power the toilets but we can recommend some reliable suppliers.

Site Event supplies toilets to a wide range of events, to see some of our work please read our case studies.

We will need adequate access and level ground in order to safely and successfully install your toilet unit. Please check the dimensions of your chosen unit using our specification sheets. If you are uncertain about space and access please let us know and we will carry out a site visit. Bear in mind the majority of toilet units will require access to a power supply and some also require access to a water supply and drain depending on your chosen unit.

It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure adequate insurance is taken out covering all facilities from delivery to return to our yard to cover damage and theft.

Site Build is a business formed buy the directors of Site Equip and Site Event to exceed customers expectation of manufacturing toilet trailers.

We found that our customers wanted something more from their toilet hire which current manufacturers were not producing, these were our themed toilet trailer units. Within four years our themed units became our most popular product leading us into the manufacturing world.
