Hand Sanitiser Station

The hand sanitiser station is made of one piece durable ridged grey plastic and stands around 1.5 metres high. Its sturdy tip resistant design means that it is not naturally prone to wobble.  For extra stability due to high winds or uneven ground, there is the option to fill the base section with water to provide additional weight.

Underneath the wide weather proof, mushroom shaped, weather protector guards sit the 4 position soap dispensers. The actual height of the dispensers is set at 42 inches. Therefore, it is accessible to most, including smallish children!

Hand Sanitiser Station Specifications

The filling of the base is both easy to top up and conversely to drain after use, if necessary. The gel is dispensed by a simple push of the protruding flap underneath which are spring loaded mechanisms, designed to take 1 litre refill packs of ‘Instant Foam’ or hand gel. The foam is then rubbed into the hands whilst it gradually evaporates, preventing the need for hand towels. The freestanding unit provides adequate and suitable washing facilities, adding hygiene without sacrificing any interior space. It’s also a cheap solution!

Currently there is not a direct government requirement or compulsory instruction to have these gel dispensers on sites. However, guidance is such that it is seen widely as Health & Safety ‘good practice’ to provide such stations. We recommend signs to direct visitors to the facilities, ideally before any eating or picnic areas. Whilst potentially removing the threat of substances hazardous to health such as E coli, the hand wash pods are not a complete substitute for full immersion of hands in hot soapy water. The perfect addition to your event to reduce queue times, by encouraging users out of the toilets quicker by sanitising their hands outside the toilet unit.

Delivery and Installation

Locations where we most actively place wash areas are, such as farm attractions (bottle feeding and areas where children are actively encouraged to touch animals) zoos, open parks, rare breed centres, rescue homes and agricultural shows. The sturdy base, yet small hand sanitiser station means that it can be located where necessary for the maximum flexibility for the event organiser.
