As we welcome in the New Year, we would like to take a look back at Site Equip’s 2019 highlights! We’ve attended some amazing events, raised an incredible amount of money for our Charity of the Year St Michael’s Hospice, and welcomed our brand new, innovative 3 bay vacuum toilet pods, exclusive to Site Event!
Site Equip’s 2019 Highlights;
January
In January we selected St Michael’s Hospice as our Charity of the Year for 2019! We met with the lovely Nicola and Jackie who spoke at length about the amazing work that the Hospice provides and gave us some great fundraising ideas and volunteering options. Read more…

In February we exhibited at the Event Production Show and debuted our new and exclusive 3 bay vacuum toilet pods. They were a huge success amongst visitors and really promoted our efforts in becoming more environmentally friendly within the industry! Read more..
March
In March we participated in a Pound for Patients Day for St Michael’s Hospice, our Charity of the Year. The aim of the day is to collect as many pound coins within a 24 hour window and then donating the proceeds to the Hospice, which goes towards life changing care, treatment and support. Read more..
We celebrated International Women’s Day, a day recognised globally to observe and commemorate the social, economic, cultural and political success of women around the world! Read more..
Site Event are Event Production Awards 2019 runners up in the Best Toilet & Hygiene Provider category! It was great to be considered for such an prestigious award within the events industry! Read more.. 
We supported World Water Day 2019, a day celebrated globally to focus on tackling the water crisis around the world. At Site Equip we are doing our best to help limit our water wastage in our units, as demonstrated in our eco loos and vacuum toilet and shower pods. Read more..

April
In April we invested in over 100 brand new construction site toilets to add to our ever-growing fleet of toilets to keep up with the high demand! Read more..
Site Event were shortlisted for not one but two awards at the prestigious Hire Awards of Excellence 2019! We narrowly missed out on gold, but we are grateful to have been runners up & had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at the luxurious Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London. Read more..
May
In May we hosted our very own Race Night for St Michael’s Hospice, raising over £2,000! Fun was had by all at the event, with great raffle prizes, great home-cooked food & more importantly the proceeds all going to a great and worthy cause! Read more..
Our very own Amy & Adam participated in a 10k run for St Michael’s Hospice! The two were incredible as they powered through the humid spring evening and crossed the finish line with smiles on their faces, well done to them!
June
In June we debuted our 3 bay vacuum toilet pods at their first event, popular dance festival Junction 2 which is situated under the motorway! Read more..
Managing Director Geoff Gilbert organised a charity football match in support of St Micheals Hospice with help from Alton Football Club who kindly donated use of the 4G pitch & facilities.
July & August
In July Site Equip scored a 3 year contract with London Fire Brigade to design and manufacture 2x portable hygiene units for the Brigade, ensuring firefighters have improved welfare facilities within a 2 hour window, 365 days a year. We got to work immediately and throughout July and August we built the trailers, completing them just before the end of summer.
September
In September we hosted our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning, with plenty of scrumptious home-baked goodies from the office staff, varying from sausage rolls to cinnamon swirls! Read more..
Site Equip exhibited at South East Construction Expo 2019, meeting some of our current clients as well as making some great connections. We had our 16ft welfare unit on display which was great for potential clients to have a look around!
October
In October Site Event exhibited at the Showman’s Show 2019, one of the biggest exhibitions for event companies and event organisers in the country. We got some amazing leads as well as meeting with current/past clients which was great to catch up over a cup of tea! Read more..

And to end the year, the two portable hygiene units we had built in summer for London Fire Brigade were unveiled at their HQ in London for the Guard of Honour, Danny Cotton.
2019 has been an incredible year for us, supplying such great events such as Jalsa Salana, Thruxton, Carfest South, Brighton Pride, Love Supreme, & many more! One of our biggest achievements for the year would have to be supplying toilets and showers to The Game Fair for the first time. The event is held at Hatfield House on the last weekend of July & attracted more than 100,000 visitors from all over the world. Due to the clientele & scale of the event we were contracted in to provide large amounts of high quality toilets across our recirculated toilet trailer fleet as well as our new luxury 3 bay & 6 bay vacuum pods. Alongside supplying large amounts of equipment we also had a team of 30 support staff cleaning & maintaining the toilets, despite the terrible weather the event was a success. For next year we have landed a few new contracts, ‘Wings 2020’, ‘Alexandra Palace’ and a lot more in the pipeline!
We are looking forward to seeing what 2020 has in store for us and would like to thank you all for your continued support throughout 2019! We wish you a successful and prosperous New Year!
