Site Equip Race Night Raises over £2,000 for St Michael’s Hospice! ?

On Friday 17th May, Site Equip hosted a race night to raise charity for our charity of the year, St Michael’s Hospice, and together managed to raise over £2,000!

After weeks of planning, collecting raffle prizes from generous donors, and preparing enough food to feed a village, we are thrilled to announce that we raised over £2,000 for St Michael’s Hospice at our race night!

The evening featured thrilling horse races (and even a dog race!), games, delicious food and drinks, and a raffle with amazing prizes. We chose St Michael’s Hospice as our 2019 charity of the year because of the vital care they provide.

The hospice supports individuals with life-limiting illnesses, along with their families and carers, to achieve the best possible quality of life. Their services include specialist care, patient home visits, and in-patient care. The £2,000 we raised will contribute to the cost of medications, oxygen, and much more.

Thank You’s

Firstly, we’d like to thank everyone who attended the evening and participated in the betting, or purchased a raffle ticket, food or drink from us. Without them, we would not have raised as much money as we have, so thank you to everyone who got involved!

We’d like to thank Jackie, Nicola & Daisy at St Michael’s Hospice Basingstoke for letting us use their Wellbeing room to host the evening, and for offering us support with their fundraising team who helped assist us and ensuring that the night ran smoothly from set up to finish!

We’d also like to give a big thank you to all of our donors to our raffle, we managed to get some incredible prizes so we cannot thank them enough for their generosity. Our prizes ranged from festival tickets to champagne, supermarket vouchers to afternoon tea for 4, there was something for everyone!

And finally, we’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our sponsors who without their generosity, we wouldn’t have been able to raise nearly the amount that we did!
