June celebrates pride month across the world. Here at Site Equip we support the LGBT+ community in every way we can, whilst trying to find new ways to support the community.
Site Equip are proud supporters of Pride month.
It has been our honour to provide event sanitation for many pride events across the South of England. Pride is about people coming together in both love and friendship and to show how far LGBTQ+ right has come, and to continue the work. Pride month is about teaching tolerance, education in pride and LGBTQ+ history and continuing to move forward in equality. Pride is all about being proud of who you are and loving whoever you like.
June is pride month to celebrate the famous Stonewall Riots (June 1969), which is considered the catalyst for a huge change in the way the LGBTQ+ community was treated.
Site Equip supports the LGBTQ+ community and continues to with the following pledges;
?οΈβ? Ensure our sanitisation is gender-neutral
As part of our continued education, we have created our portable toilets, vacuum pods, and many other sanitation offerings to be gender-neutral. This is to ensure the non-binary community aren’t excluded from sanitation use. Creating gender-neutral sanitation creates a safer space for Pride attendees. We endeavor to continue to educate ourselves and create safer and comfortable spaces for all parts of the LGTBQ+ community.
?οΈβ? Support the LGBTQ+ community financially
In this month of June, we will be donating all of our charity donations to a selected LGBTQ+ charity.
?οΈβ? Continue to supply the LGBTQ+ community
Site Event (our event division) have been supplying numerous pride events across the South of England for over 30 years, including the UKs biggest Brighton Pride. – Read our case study here.
?οΈβ? Educate and Advocate for the LGBTQ+ community
Site Equip promises to continually educate and improve ourselves with LGBTQ+ rights, we also promise to support the LGBTQ+ in every way we are able. At Site Equip we stand for equality and will not support or tolerate any hate act towards the LGBTQ+ community. Pride means acceptance for not only who you want to be, but who you are and the journey it took to get there.
Happy pride month.
