Since our humble beginnings in 1988, where we started with just portable plastic chemical toilets for construction sites, Site Equip has evolved into one of the South’s leading suppliers of portable toilet, shower, site accommodation, fencing and waste disposal hire.
Along the way we have formed two sister companies, Site Event and Site Build, the former focusing on the more glamorous side of portable toilet hire with events and festivals, and the latter being our very own in-house manufacturing facility. Our team at Site Build have been very busy over the last few months developing a couple of brand new products exclusively for Site Event, the 6 Bay Luxury Vacuum Toilet Pods and the 6 Bay Luxury Shower Pods.
6 Bay Luxury Vacuum Toilet Pods
The 6 Bay Luxury Vacuum Toilet Pods allow for a luxurious and eco-friendly toilet option for event organisers due to their impressive environmental credentials. The Vacuum Pods have significantly less water consumption with 0.5L per flush compared with the 9L standard in a traditional toilet, this is down to the vacuum function in which the waste is vacuumed away into a large external tank rather than simply flushed with an excessive amount of water as displayed in a traditional unit. The vacuum pods also save on transportation as 4 pod’s can be delivered onto one transportation load as opposed to 4 individual vehicle trips, cutting our carbon footprint down by 75%!
The unit has a layout of 3 cubicles each side of the pod and contains a vanity unit, ceramic sink, mirror, toilet, hand towel dispenser and a limited cold water supply in a fixed tank. We will include consumables including; toilet roll, hand soap and hand towels. The unit can be easily labelled for any gender and can cater for up to 400 people for a standard 8 hour event.

6 Bay Luxury Shower Pods
The Shower Pods are 6 luxurious gas powered showers within a pod system, and similar to the Vacuum Toilet Pods, these units add to your environmentally friendly credentials as we can deliver multiple pods on one delivery load as opposed to our single tow-able shower units, saving on transportation costs and reducing carbon emissions. The pod layout has three separate shower cubicles either side, each containing non slip flooring, shower curtain or divider, mirror, seat, clothing hooks and a hot shower. Each unit has a water buffer tank inside the floor which contains up to 1000L of fresh water and 2 x 47kg bottles of propane gas which are housed outside the trailer.
Much like the Vacuum Toilet Pod’s, The Shower Pod’s are usually delivered by an articulated lorry or a 7.5T beavertail and will require a forklift/telehandler for delivery & collection.
