In an ideal world, we shouldn’t have to worry about the safety of our tools and equipment after clocking off for the day, but the reality is you can never be too cautious. Site Equip have several types of construction site protection available to protect your site against theft and vandalism.
Construction sites are prime targets for theft after hours as a lot of tools and equipment are left overnight. With 21% of construction sites admitting that they are affected by theft every week & a staggering 92% affected every year! There are several ways in which you can add construction site protection to help prevent becoming a victim of theft and vandalism.
Site Fencing
The first step is to limit their accessibility onto your site. This can be done by providing site fencing around the outer edge of your site and adding gates which can allow access during the working day but can be locked when not in use. Our Heras fencing, pedestrian gates and vehicle gates are perfect for this. Our Heras fence panels and gates all have an anti-climb design and can be provided in multiple quantities to fit around your site perimeter.
Storage Container
Even with site fencing in place, it is still wise to keep your tools, handheld equipment and anything else of value contained and locked away at the end of each day. Our anti vandal storage containers are the ideal solution to keep items secure as the containers have an anti vandal exterior and are fitted with security lock boxes to prevent any potential theft. In a set up of either 10ft or 20ft, these units add great security to your site.
Anti-Vandal Welfare Units
Most construction sites require a welfare area of some sort, and it is common to hire wheeled welfare units which can include a canteen, office, toilet and drying room in one. These wheeled units are extremely handy when it comes to constantly evolving work sites as they can be towed around as and when, however the exposed wheels makes them a target for theft or vandalism. Our anti-vandal welfare units can be lowered to the ground using hydraulics which conceal the wheels and eliminate the possibility of the unit being stolen.
With these construction site protection measures in place, you can rest assured that your site is secure and protected.
