Where do you supply mobile toilet units to?
We hire our range of event mobile toilets throughout South of England covering; Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, London, Essex, Kent, Dorset, Wiltshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire.
Do you supply toilet paper, hand towels and other consumables?
Yes. Each unit is supplied fully stocked with toilet paper (2 rolls per loo), hand towels and hand wash or hand sanitizer depending on the units which have been hired. We can provide additional stock at a small cost. We can also supply our experienced uniform attendant if required.
Can I rent a toilet for 1 day?
Yes, all our event toilets are available to hire and have a minimum one days hire rate unless specified differently on your contract.
Is an event toilet the same as a construction toilet?
No, none of our event toilets have even been on a construction site. This means we can guarantee that all our event toilets are at the highest of standards. If you need a construction toilet please contact our sister company Site Equip.
How far in advance do I need to reserve a portable toilet?
During peak-times, June, July, August and September we tend to be fully booked, therefore we would recommend booking in your loo hire as soon as possible.
How will my toilet be delivered and when?
We have NSQ qualified uniformed delivery drivers who will use a range of vehicles from HGVs, 3.5 tonne transits, 4x4s or Land Rovers, enabling us to deliver to you no matter the terrain. We will agree a delivery day at the time of booking and our transport department will notify you the day before as to the time of the delivery, which will be confirmed by the driver when he is on his way to you. Our usual days of delivery are Monday – Friday however as an events company we are open 24/7 ensuring your toilet is delivered when convenient for you.
Where does the toilet waste go after it has been used?
Site Event are a licenced waste carrier and the waste from the toilets is disposed of at a local sewage works, there is one in almost every town! This is disposed of according to regulations and procedures set out by the Health and Safety Executive.
Do I need to supply additional water?
Our toilet trailers come with their own fresh water tank. Over a usual period event these wouldn’t need to be refilled, however if this hire period is extended or used more heavily you may need to top up the tanks.
Are there lights in the toilets?
Our toilet trailers have lights fitted, which need an electricity supply to power. However our single plastic loos have translucent roofs which give good daylight illumination or at night they could be positioned underneath a light.
Can the loos be positioned anywhere?
No, they need to be placed on a flat firm ground in an accessible location. Trackway should be used on wet grass to aid delivery and collection, remember it will be heavier when we collect it. Our delivery drivers are towing the units to site so may require a larger area for manoeuvring. However this information can be gathered from our transport department. We will do our best to position them exactly where you’d like.
Can you put your luxury toilet trailer inside a marquee?
Yes, we can install toilet trailers inside marquees, meaning they become part of the furniture, we would recommend us delivering the toilets before the marquee is erected, and to ensure it is in the correct position.
Does the luxury toilets have wheelchair access?
Unfortunately they do not, however we have a luxury disabled toilet trailer, specifically for that use.
What power do I need to run a Toilet Trailer?
All toilet trailers require an unshared and uninterrupted power source of 13amp to ensure the unit functions for the duration of the event.
Can I hire a mobile generator for my event?
We do not supply you with generators to power the toilets but we can recommend some reliable suppliers.
What type of events do you provide toilet hire for?
Site Event has a wide range of toilets, which all cater for many different occasions, if you are unsure which loo suits your requirement please contact our event managers and they will be able to help you. We have provided toilets to events for over 35 years to Festivals, Sporting Events and Large Events. We can provide just a single unit to multiple trailers. Whether you are looking to hire our budget range or our ultimate luxury mobile toilet units, we are happy to accommodate.
Do I need to prepare anything before delivery of my mobile toilet unit?
We will need adequate access and level ground in order to safely and successfully install your toilet unit. Please check the dimensions of your chosen unit using our specification sheets. If you are uncertain about space and access please let us know and we will carry out a site visit. Bear in mind the majority of toilet units will require access to a power supply and some also require access to a water supply and drain depending on your chosen unit.
Can I lock the portable toilet?
All of our trailer units are supplied with keys.
What happens if problems occur?
We don’t expect you to have any problems when hiring toilets from Site Event however we provide you with a 24hr emergency call out telephone number available on our telephone number answer service. Our trained technicians are on hand and ready to assist should any problems occur.
Is it possible to view the units prior to hiring?
Yes. You are welcome to visit our premises to inspect the available units and discuss your requirements. Please call us to organise an appointment.
What health and safety measures do you have in place?
When hiring portable toilets from us, you can be rest assured we follow our extensive health and safety policy, during installation, removal and maintenance of the toilet units. All our staff are NSQ trained to ensure themselves and those around them are safe at all times.
Do I need to arrange insurance in case of damage or vandalism to the equipment at my event?
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure adequate insurance is taken out covering all facilities from delivery to return to our yard to cover damage and theft.
