Last week, our Construction New Business Developer Steve Vass visited Brighton to go to the Constructionline Meet The Buyer event.

On May 17th, Steve made his way down to sunny Brighton to the Meet the Buyers Event. This event gave us the opportunity to meet face-to-face with key decision makers and find out about upcoming projects. Although the event was smaller than we expected, we found the quality of leads to be brilliant. During the day, we met a variety of contractors and public sector buyers from companies such as Balfour Beatty, McGoff Construction and Baxall.

We found it extremely useful to attend the event to be able to meet with both buyer and supplier and was a great opportunity to build relationships and promote considerate construction. Having worked on similar jobs as the buyers ourselves, such as the fit out of Tesco stores in England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland, we found this to be useful in meeting connections who were working on similar projects.
