Site Event is a Hire Awards of Excellence 2020 finalist in the SafeHire Event Hire Company of the Year category.

Why we were selected as a finalist:

From designing innovative industry-leading products in-house, through to delivering an excellent service to our customers, we put the needs of the local community and sustainability at the heart of everything we do.  

Sustainability:

During 2019 Site Equip implemented numerous changes that resulted in increased productivity and efficiencies.  Our paper usage decreased significantly as a result of launching driver, workshop and cleaning apps.  As a result of our sustainability efforts, we achieved a 50% reduction in our carbon footprint. 

Innovation:

Through the continual development of our practices with technological enhancements, we are able to stay ahead of the curve.  Site Equip is a leader within our industry and our repeat customer rate is over 90%.

We provide a collaborative partnership and using the feedback from our customers to innovate industry-first products, we are able to meet the needs of our customers. This is how our eco-friendly 3 bay vacuum pods originated. 

Impassioned Staff:

Employee welfare is paramount to the high-quality services we offer to our clients.  As a fast-growing company we have made a significant investment in our HR strategy.  

Training and Development:

During 2019 we have promoted 5 of our employees to more senior positions. 

100% of our employees have reached NVQ Level 1 in the National Sanitation Qualification.  Subjects covered include health and safety, manual handling, basic first aid, transport safety and best practice in servicing portable toilets.  Our aim is to train all staff up to NVQ Level 2 in 2020. 

Our Charity & Community work:

Site Equip raised over £5,500 during 2019 for our charity of the year ‘St Michaels Hospice’.

Working with our 2020 charity partner, Spotlight UK, we are giving young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity for work experience in the Events Sector.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships:

At Site Event, we work with closely every client. From project conception through to post-hire and always adhering to HAE’s Code of Conduct. Through the development of each event in collaboration with our client, we are able to provide the very best welfare and sanitation experience. 

Investment in growth:

Over our 32 year history, we have had a strong presence in the South of England, supplying the large majority of events in the area. To increase the quality of our service, efficiency, and to increase growth, we took the decision to open our 3rd depot in North London! A very exciting time for us! 

Award Ceremony: 

The Hire Association Europe and Event Hire Association (HAE EHA) 2020 Awards Ceremony is scheduled for 4th April.  The event will take place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
