Site Equip’s director Amy Gilbert has been elected to the EHA Event Equipment Board.
Site Equip and Site Event are pleased to announce Amy Gilbert as a new Board Member for Event Equipment at EHA (Event Hire Association). The annual general meeting saw the completion of the 2017 election of board members, seeing new faces upon the board and the departure of others. There has been an addition of 7 new members to the Board as of the 13th July. HAE & EHA is a Birmingham-based industry-leading trade body representing plant, tool and equipment hire with a membership base of 900 members based in the UK, Europe and across other parts of the world.
Amy joined Site Equip in 2012 and since then has been instrumental to the success of the company. During this time Amy’s achievements include winning ‘New Starter of the Year’ at the HAE Hire Awards of Excellence in 2014, opening a new Kent Depot in 2015 and most recently developing a number of new product lines. Amy was promoted to director of Site Equip at the start of the year after a record breaking 2016 and Site Equip have since won Event Industry Product of The Year at the HAE EHA Hire Awards of Excellence 2017 for our Shabby Chic Toilet Trailer, designed and manufactured by us. As well as this, Amy was the brains behind our brand new themed toilet trailer The Brewery, which we’re hoping will be as successful as The Shabby Chic! The news of Amy’s election as Board Member for Event Equipment tops off an already successful 2017 for Site Equip and Site Event, with much more to come for 2018.
