Quite simply there are three types of portable toilets which are HSE (Health and Safety Executive) approved. These are:

Cold Water Chemical Portable Toilet

These toilets are the most common on construction site, they comprise of chemical toilet and a cold water hand washing facility, enabling you to wash up to your elbows. Site Equip include within the hire rate a free weekly servicing which comprises of; emptying the effluent, cleaning the surfaces, replacing the toilet roll, hand towels and soap.

Hot Water Chemical Portable Toilet

The hot water chemical toilet is available in either 110v or 240v which enables the hot water heater to warm the water to ensure everyone on site has warm water to wash their hands with. The toilet inside of these portable toilets is a chemical one, which similarly to the cold water version, includes a free weekly service.

Mains Connected Portable Toilets

The portable toilet which the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) prefer the most is the mains connected portable toilet. This unit enables you to connect the toilet to mains sewage, water and electric, running the unit most similarly to a permanent unit. Hiring this unit means that we would not have to have service the toilet, enabling a high usage on site.
