Site Event Is Highly Commended in the Green Supplier and Innovation Awards from the Showman’s Show!

As part of the Showman’s Show awards, Site Event entered for the Green Supplier and Innovation Awards. This award recognises companies that have released innovative products or services which reduce the environmental impact of events and those that have adopted sustainable working practices.

At Site Event we have grown, changed & developed considerably over the past few years, not just in terms of the different events we have supplied but our strategy regarding supplying events has changed. We made a huge push towards more environmentally friendly products that limit the use of chemicals. We then developed our new luxury 6 bay & 3 bay vacuum toilets which have a freshwater flush, these are not only eco-friendlier, they have a higher quality user experience as opposed to blue chemical re-circulating toilet trailers which are commonly used.

Transportation is by far the biggest contributor to carbon emissions by supplying the event industry. The fewer amount of transport loads the better, not just in terms of costs but helping the environment by making the most efficient journeys possible. Previously when toilet trailers were used, we would have to transport the units back to our HQ in Lasham to clean the filters and tanks correctly. Whereas using our vacuum equipment this is not needed so the units can be sent from event to event, thus dramatically reducing our transportation & carbon footprint throughout a season of events.

Over our 33 year history, we have had a strong presence in the South of England, supplying the large majority of events in the area. To increase the quality of our service, efficiency and to increase growth we took the decision to open our 3rd depot in North London and with this reducing our driving miles and reducing our footprint across the UK. Site Event has also developed our own in-house app to accompany our products. Analysing which toilets get the highest use, any breakdowns before the customers are aware, and when they require cleaning or replenishment of consumables!

Innovative software has always kept us in communication with our customers, sending automatic texts and emails before any delivery, collection, or service and technological advancements have enabled us to provide health and safety compliance paperwork instantly with photos, phone call logs, location GPS, and signatures.

Designed and developed in-house, our 3 & 6 Bay Vacuum Pods teamed with our innovative INDICATE mobile app, has revolutionised sanitation at large events.

INDICATE allows you as an event organiser to have a complete overview of your toilet sanitation. From tank monitoring, queue optimisation, cleaning overviews, and fast response times for pods that required immediate attention. INDICATE also offers post-event reports to help improve layout and toilet positioning for optimal usage and efficiency.

Site Event Vacuum Pods are environmentally friendly, reduces your events carbon footprint and, reduces your water consumption. The system designed for the Vacuum Pods allows for no servicing downtime, meaning your sanitation keeps running as long as your event does.

Since the pandemic, Site Event has expanded into hand sanitising products, ensuring your event attendees with an extra layer of safety. These include our hand sanitiser stations and our vacuum sinks.
